“Blossoming II” is a one-of-a-kind 8" x 10" artwork framed in an oak wood shadow box. This collaborative piece features the intricate Korean patchworking technique, Jogakbo, hand-stitched by Denver-based fashion designer Mimi Shim. She used botanically dyed fabrics by Maki and cherished quilt fabrics from Maki’s mother. Rooted in sustainability and traditional artistry, this work beautifully weaves together the spirit of three women.
