Maki Teshima's recent mobile series is using recycled used t-shirts she collects from her community and ridwell organization.

Lush is composed of botanically dyed recycled T-shirts and her first handwoven basket, created after studying with a Cherokee basket weaver in Denver. The work reflects her love for natural color and traditional craft while celebrating the transformation of everyday materials.

​​​​Meguriai_巡り会い is Originally created for Ramen Star in Denver, this suspended mobile evolved after the owner's return to Japan. Additional objects were incorporated to express the constant crossings and interactions between people, memories, and objects through movement and shadow.
