You will learn all about the art of indigo dyeing and how to make natural indigo vats using fructose sugar, henna and iron ferrous sulfate at Maki's studio in Denver, CO. We will explore making various resist patterns including Japanese techniques, Shibori and Ita-jime.

About the event

Please join the inidigo dyeing workshop I at her cozy studio in Denver, CO. 

We will take time to learn all about the art of indigo dyeing.

You can bring two pieces of your natural garment (t-shirts, socks, bandanas, or pillow covers are perfect. You cannot bring large products like long dresses, bed sheets due to the size of the vats) 

Lunch time will be between AM & PM. 

Light snacks and tea or coffee will be provided. 

All material fee and tax are included.
