In this 2 hour workshop, you can become a spontaneous and abstract artist using natural bundle dyeing technique. You can bring your old flowers in a vase, spices you use to cook, tea leaves you just steep to drink! Let's explore together!

About the event

In this 2 hour class, you learn basic bundle dyeing with natural materials.

Maki will prepare about 10 kinds of materials to dye, but you are welcome to bring your own materials!

*Pre mordanted bandanna and a piece of cotton are going to be provided. If you want to bring your own fabrics, email me.

*Maki works with only plant based fabrics such as cotton and linen

*Experience with art, dyeing is not necessary at all!

*Do you want to bring your kids? I recommend kids have to be at least 4 year old. An adult has to be accompanied with under 18 years old. (Since we use gas to steam fabrics.) It is your responsibility for your child's safety and watch your child behavior.

It cost $45 for under 18 years old.
