Do you have a favorite white t-shirts, which has soy sauce stains, so you hesitate to wear? Do you have socks you want to add new design to it?? This is the perfect workshop for you.

About The Event
Bring the 2 garments you want to upcycle. You are going to explore, tie-dye/shibori, itajime resist dye technique. This is NOT how to make indigo vat workshop. However, I will explain how I make vat and tell all about indigo dyeing chemical reactions.
*Please prewash the garments.
*1 item has to be less than 5oz/140gm. (Men's t-shirt is about 5oz)
*The fabric has to be natural plant-base fiber such as linen, cotton, bumboo or hemp. If you want to bring Wool string or silk, let me know.
*Denim, sneaker, sweater, bed sheets are not allowed. (They absorb so much dye and weaken the vat.)
*If you want to bring more than 2 items, let me know. An extra charge of $25 per item.
*Max 6 people in this class
*Minimum of 3 people for the class (so bring your friend!)
